PROFORE Lite Multi-Layer Compression Bandage System
PROFORE is a multi-layer compression bandaging system developed to apply sustained graduated compression for the management of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions.
- This kit contains everything necessary for the application of graduated compression therapy
- Comprised of a wound contact layer and three bandages
- Specially developed for the management of mixed aetiology leg ulcers where assessment has identified that the patient has some degree of arterial impairment which prevents the use of full compression
- Designed to maintain effective levels of compression after application
- The system may be left in place for up to one week
- More frequent changes may be necessary especially in the first few weeks of management when the ulcers may be draining heavily
